The painting is energetic and full of life. Most of the painting is covered in bright yellow, concentrated at the bottom right, and then we see neon green and different shades of blue scattered over the top left. The other colors are small amounts of orange, brown, and purple. The colors look like smoke, or powder, or even a colored mist scattered throughout the air.
The subjects of the painting are the hands up in the air. Some of them are covered in the color that occupies the background and the others are colored in a mix of orange, yellow and red. Some have bracelets around the wrists.
The painting shows a celebration. You have a feeling the hands are thrown up in the air because the people are either dancing, or throwing the colors that is covering them in the air, or both.
One can almost hear the music that must be playing around them, and see the people that are dancing just outside of view. The painting brings joy and energy.
